Sessions are tailored to your movement patterns, limitations, goals and current capabilities to help improve strength, coordination, posture and overall function over time.
Whether you’re dealing with recurring pain, stiffness, instability or movement restrictions, the focus is on helping your body become more adaptable and resilient long-term.
This approach works best when there’s collaboration, consistency and a genuine willingness to learn.
Many people come in thinking the issue is only where they feel pain.
But often the body has been compensating for years in ways that affect posture, movement efficiency and force distribution.
That’s why sessions may focus on:
The goal is to help your body function more cohesively so improvements actually carry over into everyday life.
Assessment: We begin by looking at how your body currently moves, where compensations may be occurring and what may be contributing to ongoing pain or restriction.
Rebuild: Using personalised 1:1 personal training, we work on improving movement quality, strength, coordination and body awareness progressively over time.
Integration: The goal is helping those changes carry over into your everyday life, so your body feels more capable, reliable and resilient long-term.
Every session is tailored to your body, movement patterns and current capabilities.
Depending on your needs, sessions may include:
The focus is not just on what exercises you do, but how your body performs them.
Over time, the goal is to create more efficient movement patterns that reduce unnecessary tension and improve overall function.
Over time, clients typically notice:
This is where we slow everything down and actually look at what your body is doing, not just what you feel.
Most people arrive thinking the issue is “tight hips,” “bad posture,” or an old injury. What we usually find is a pattern underneath all of that that’s been building for years.
1. Movement + Posture Assessment
We look at how you stand, walk, and move in simple positions. Not to label you, but to understand how your body is currently organising itself.
2. Pain + History Breakdown
We go through what’s been happening with your body - injuries, recurring pain, training history, and daily habits that might be influencing how you feel.
3. Hands-on + Movement Testing
You’ll be guided through specific movements so we can see where control, strength, or coordination is breaking down.
4. Clear Direction Forward
You’ll leave with a simple explanation of what’s actually contributing to your issue, and what needs to change to improve it. No guesswork, no overwhelm.

Absolutely! In fact, I love nothing more than teaching a beginner how to move their body safely and help them grow their confidence in a fitness environment. All exercises are personalised to you and your goals so we will work to your abilities.
Definitely. Poor posture and weak balance often come from inefficient movement habits. My training focuses on posture correction, balance, and flexibility by strengthening muscles in the way your body naturally moves. This makes everyday actions easier, reduces tension, and gives you a more stable foundation for both fitness and daily life.
Many clients come to me after trying physiotherapy, chiropractic, or massage without lasting results. My approach looks at the root cause of pain by correcting biomechanics and retraining how the body coordinates movement. This type of corrective/rehab training helps you achieve sustainable improvements rather than temporary relief. You’ll also build resilience, reduce the likelihood of re-injury, and reclaim a stronger, more capable body.
It all depends on you! We'll go at your pace to reach your goals. How fast we do that depends on the time and effort you put in! Our focus however, is always to get you to reach your goals in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner.
The bulk of the session will focus on addressing key movements that the client needs specific work on, which will progressively get more advanced as the session goes on. My training plans are tailored to each individual person and their own personal goals, and so no two sessions are ever the same!
