1:1 PERSONAL TRAINING

Personal training with me is highly individual.


There are no preset workouts, rotating programs, or generic templates. Every session is shaped by what your body needs at that point in time.

What makes this different

Most personal training focuses on exercises and effort. This focuses on organisation — how your body coordinates movement, manages force, and adapts over time.


Training with me means:

What a session involves

Training begins with assessing how you move.


We look at posture, gait, coordination, strength, mobility, and how you manage load. Sessions then evolve as your body adapts, rather than following a fixed plan.

GETTING STARTED

Book In Your Complementary 90-Min Consultation

Personal training takes place in a private studio environment.


In our first 90-minute session, we'll dive deep into understanding your unique movement patterns, physical limitations, and specific goals. We’ll start with a thorough assessment of your posture, balance, flexibility, and stability to pinpoint any imbalances or areas of tension that may be affecting your movement or causing discomfort.


From there, I’ll guide you through targeted exercises designed to address those specific issues, giving you a firsthand experience of what functional movement training feels like. You'll leave this session with valuable insights into your body’s needs, as well as a clear plan of action tailored to support your journey towards a pain-free, stronger, and more functional lifestyle.

Training then continues progressively and is adjusted as your capacity improves.

Absolutely! In fact, I love nothing more than teaching a beginner how to move their body safely and help them grow their confidence in a fitness environment. All exercises are personalised to you and your goals so we will work to your abilities.


Definitely. Poor posture and weak balance often come from inefficient movement habits. My training focuses on posture correction, balance, and flexibility by strengthening muscles in the way your body naturally moves. This makes everyday actions easier, reduces tension, and gives you a more stable foundation for both fitness and daily life.


Many clients come to me after trying physiotherapy, chiropractic, or massage without lasting results. My approach looks at the root cause of pain by correcting biomechanics and retraining how the body coordinates movement. This type of corrective/rehab training helps you achieve sustainable improvements rather than temporary relief. You’ll also build resilience, reduce the likelihood of re-injury, and reclaim a stronger, more capable body.


It all depends on you! We'll go at your pace to reach your goals. How fast we do that depends on the time and effort you put in! Our focus however, is always to get you to reach your goals in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner.


The bulk of the session will focus on addressing key movements that the client needs specific work on, which will progressively get more advanced as the session goes on. My training plans are tailored to each individual person and their own personal goals, and so no two sessions are ever the same!


No! I operate out of Bay Pilates in Rose Bay, in my own private studio where there's no membership fee required! The studio is a really spacious, clean and bright environment, easily accessible by bus or car.


Just bring yourself along! All equipment is already provided for you to use as part of each session, helping to make the whole process as easy and as straightforward as possible for you.
