For four long years, I battled chronic back pain that felt like it would never go away. I tried everything – Pilates, physio, traditional weight training – but nothing seemed to help. In fact, most of it just made things worse. My brother had been urging me to try Functional Patterns, but I resisted – until I finally gave it a go, and it turned out to be the game-changer I’d been looking for. Not only did it solve my pain, but it gave me the insights I needed to help my clients find relief, too.
When I was working as a traditional gym trainer, I noticed so many clients struggling with the same issues: poor balance, trouble activating key muscles, limited range of motion – all of which got in the way of moving well. But since discovering Functional Patterns, I’ve been able to help my clients address these imbalances and movement restrictions at their source. Now, they’re moving better, feeling stronger, and finally experiencing the long-term relief from aches and pains they’ve been looking for.
Today, my goal is simple: to share this knowledge and empower others to train in a way that supports a pain-free, functional, and active lifestyle.
